Dolls that teach girls how to code, because girls just want to have fun, and learn to code.

SCROLL TO LEARN ABOUT THE DOLL OF THE FUTURE

A DOLL THAT TEACHES GIRLS HOW TO CODE

Eliza teaches young girls how to code and build hardware through custom, tech-enabled projects based on things girls love.

STEP THREE

Play, learn, and have fun with Eliza!

ELIZA MAKES LEARNING FUN

Eliza wants to travel to space when she grows up. She can show you her interplanetary tricks.

ELIZA CAN DETECT THE TRUTH

Ask a friend to put their finger on the heartbeat sensor to see if they are telling the truth! Eliza uses the pulse sensor to measure her heartbeat in her space anti-gravity training.

ELIZA ALWAYS MATCHES YOUR OUTFIT

Hold up your outfit to the color sensor and the Eliza’s dress and accessories will turn that color, so she matches you! E-liza uses this to camouflage on other planets in case of aliens.

ELIZA UNDERSTANDS PLANTS

Place the soil sensor into various plants around your house to see which need water. Eliza uses this to find water on other planets.

PLAY TODAY, CHANGE TOMORROW

Eliza will fix the gender diversity gap and create
a new generation of
women in STEM.

We want to expose young girls to technological concepts and encourage creative thinking through hardware and software, preventing girls from being influenced by generational stereotypes.

No product on the market targets the natural interest of girls, combined with technology. Parents have so few options, they feel they need to force their daughters to play with STEM products designed for boys, in order to get their daughters on a STEM path.

We believe little girls don’t have to sacrifice their interests in order to play with educational STEM toys.

Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Sergei Brin (founder of Google), and many other technology leaders all started tinkering with computers at a young age. Now girls of today’s generation will too.

THE BIG IDEA BEHIND ELIZA

Meet Eliza. The human one.

Eliza Kosoy is a PhD student at UC Berkeley working in child development and Artificial Intelligence working with Prof. Alison Gopnik, previously she worked at MIT. She has worked as a data analyst, coached a LEGO robotics team and hosted a local TV show where sassy children debated the intellectual elite such as Nobel Prize winners.

During her time in various computational labs and start-ups she couldn’t help but notice how few women and POC surrounded her, she set out to change that with Eliza dolls! Our mission is to spark curiosity and wonder in the hearts of young girls and inspire their confidence in STEM engineering. Eliza will enable a new generation of women scientists that will fundamentally change the balance of power in technology and create better products for society.

ELIZA SIMPLY MAKES LEARNING FUN

In 2018, women made up only 28%
of the science and engineering workforce.
Let’s change that today, for tomorrow.

As of 2018, the Fortune 500 CEO list was only 6.6% women. To see real progress in STEM and particularly in AI, we need to create diversity in the field.

By creating a new generation of girls who are better suited for a career in science, beginning as early as age 7, we will see real change the world, one girl at a time!
